FA CUP REACHING ITS BUSINESS END

The 5 th round of the 2017 English FA cup went down over the weekend with

some shocking results recorded as usual.

The FA cup as always been filled with surprising results over the years and this

year hasn’t been any different with no exceptions. Lincoln turned a surprised

package and lived up to their name as “Giant Killer” travelling to Turf Moor and

kicked out one of the most inform teams in the Premier League (on home

form) Burley.

Chelsea football club which currently tops the Premier League table, played on

the home turf of Wolves Hampton, the Blues won the game with goals from

Pedro and Costa ensuring they progressed to this year’s FA Cup quarter finals

as they set to play reigning FA champions Manchester United.

The Chelsea side progressed into the quarter final after a rough season start.

They came from behind to beat Black Burn Rovers, scaling through with goals

from Rashford and Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Manchester United fell behind early in the game, when Danny Graham’s well

placed shot beat Romero in goal for the United, but the red devils responded

swiftly, doing enough to come out tops of the game to keep their dreams of

retaining the FA Cup.

Harry Kane became hero for Tottenham scoring a hat-trick to inspire Spurs to a

3.0 victory away to Fulham at Craven Cottage. Middleborough defeated

Oxford, while Leicester continued their free fall as they lost to a last minute

goal to 10 men milwall, Huddlesfield also held city to a surprise 0.0 draw, and

forced the tie to a replay.

Sutton will be looking to cause the biggest upset of all-time in the FA Cup when

they host Arsenal at the Gander Green Lane on Monday Night.

The quarter final draw promises a mouth-watering tie between League leaders

Chelsea and defending FA Cup Champions Manchester United. Other fixtures

include Totheham vs Millwal, Middlesborogh vs Hudlesfield vs city, Lincoln Vs

Sutton/Arsenal
