At least two people have been reported dead and two injured after a motorway bridge collapsed
near the north-east Italian city of Ancona, Thursday.
According to Italian officials, the bridge which involved a temporary structure supporting the bridge
plummeted on the car of the two victims.
The Italian news agency Ansa quoted Autostrade as saying that the bridge fell down onto the A14
road, which runs between Loreto and Ancona South, adding that two others were injured.
According to reports, a bridge also collapsed last year over a busy road near Lecco Province Milan,
Italy leaving one dead and five seriously injured.
Italian officials are still on formal investigation on the site of the incident.
