Former Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak has been freed after spending six years in Egyptian custody.
According to his lawyer Farid al-Deeb, Mubarak left a military hospital on Friday where he had spent much of his six-year detention.
Mubarak had been cleared for release earlier this month after a top court finally acquitted him of involvement in protester deaths during the 2011 revolt that ousted him.
The trial of the former political leader who served as the fourth President of Egypt had begun on 3 August 2011.
Meanwhile, the former President of the most populous Arab country was ordered with both of his sons Alaa and Gamal to be detained for 15 days of questioning about allegations of corruption and abuse of power.
Hosni Mubarak served as the fourth President of Egypt from 1981-2011 before he was overthrown.
