Former Super Eagles midfield maestro Jay Jay Okocha was on Wednesday, May 11, spotted with Argentine football legend Diego Amando Maradona.
The duo alongside other top football dignitaries including Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick are currently in Bahrain ahead of the 67th FIFA Congress billed to hold on Thursday, May 11.
Maradona has been described as the best footballer of all time, while some will give it to Brazilian Pele, both whom were awarded the joint FIFA player of the 20th century.
Okocha who surprisingly failed to win an African Player of the Year award was known for his confidence, technique, creativity, and dribbling skills, as well as his use of feints, in particular the stepover and was described as ‘being so good that they named him twice’.
Brazil and Barcelona great Ronaldinho also expressed his utmost admiration for the 43-year-old Nigerian; the duo were teammates at French giants PSG during their playing days.
