The Presidency says if another round of presidential election holds in

Nigeria today, the incumbent, President Muhammadu Buhari would

repeat the feat he recorded in 2015.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity,

Mallam Garba Shehu, said this on Tuesday (May 23rd) while

addressing State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa,in the

Nation’s federal capital territory, Abuja.

He was flanked by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and

Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina and Senior Special Assistant on Media

and Publicity to the Acting President, Mr Laolu Akande.

He pointed out that Nigerians have reposed their confidence in the

incumbent presidency and are impressed with President Buhari’s track

record of performance not minding the challenges

The presidential aide made it clear that the Nigerian masses would

still massively vote for President Buhari irrespective of whatever the

opposition political parties might be orchestrating or doing.

He emphasised that the confidence reposed in President Buhari by

ordinary Nigerians had remained unshaken because the President has

been justifying the people’s mandate since he assumed duty as the

country’s number one citizen.
