Following the 51-day medical vacation in the United Kingdom, the President of Nigeria Muhammadu

Buhari has finally returned home.

President buhari arrived Friday morning and was welcomed by government officials

The Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmaad in a statement, said that the

President held a meeting at the First Lady Conference hall at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

According to him, the meeting which was presided by the Vice President, Yomi Osibajo who had

been the acting President since Muhammadu Buhari left the country, had in attendance top

government officials

Bashir Ahmaad quoted the president on a post he shared on his Twitter handle, @BashirAhmaad, as

saying, “I am feeling much better.”

According to Bashir, President Buhari wrote, “I am pleased I am back, I am feeling much better now,

Meanwhile, the Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmaad and president’s

Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina were able to clear the air on speculations

about the President’s health condition after his absence had stretched beyond 10-days request.

President Buhari departed Nigeria to United Kingdom on 20th January 2017 and arrived the

country this morning.

Nigerians are waiting impatiently to hear from the President.
