As part of continued commitment to the welfare and well-being of the people of Osun State, Governor Rauf Aregbesola has again provided a free train ride for indigenes of the state for the Easter celebration.
The media aide to the governor, Mr Semiu Okanlawon made the announcement on Wednesday in Osun.
Okanlawo said in a statement that the train would move from the Iddo Terminus of the Nigeria Railway Corporation, Ebute Meta, Lagos on Friday April 14, at exactly 10:00a.m.
While urging the people of Osun to enjoy a quality time with family and friends during the Easter celebration said the train would return to Lagos on Monday.
Holiday makers who are to enjoy the offer include enroute Osun through Lagos, Ogun and Oyo States.
Aregbesola therefore, enjoined indigenes of the state to maximise the advantage of the free train ride to visit home and enjoy the celebration.
The customary free train transportation as introduced by Aregbesola 6-years ago takes care of both Muslims and Christians to ease the movement of people during festival periods.
