Minister of Information and Culture on has assured Nigerians not to be worried
over President Muhammadu Buhari’s health because he is in good and safe
hands.
This followed the silence on the state of the president’s health by the Presidency
since he travelled over three weeks ago, development which has continues to
generate worries, growing concerns and suspision among many Nigerians of the
current health status of President Muhammadu Buhari.
But in a reaction, the Information minister while addressing State House
correspondents after the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on
Wednesday, assured that there is nothing to worry about over President Buhari’s
state of health.
He said, “Once again, I want to make myself very, very clear. On the issue of
Mr President, he is in very competent hands and there is no cause for alarm.”
The wife of the president, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, on Tuesday travelled to London
to be with her 74 year old husband, who earlier stayed 49 days in the same place
for medical treatment.
